"Red October" Diplomatic Cyber Attacks - Jan 17, 2013
In October 2012, Kaspersky Lab’s Global Research & Analysis Team initiated a new threat research after a series of attacks against computer networks of various international diplomatic service agencies. A large scale cyber-espionage network was revealed and analyzed during the investigation, which we called Red October.
Microsoft Releases Update for Internet Explorer Vulnerability CVE-2012-4792 - Jan 16, 2013
Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6, 7, and 8 are susceptible to a use-after-free vulnerability. This vulnerability is being actively exploited in the wild. Microsoft has released Security Bulletin MS13-008 to address this vulnerability.

FLAME - The New Cyber Threat - May 30, 2012
Identified as "Win32.Flame" by Kaspersky Lab’s security products, is designed to carry out cyber espionage. It has been identified as a state-developed cyber espionage tool capable of stealing valuable information, including but not limited to computer display contents, information about targeted systems, stored files, contact data and even audio conversations. It now also known that Flame is capable of deleting information from systems, which increases the threat of data loss in infected systems.
Is you computer infected with DNSChanger? - April 23, 2012
DNSChanger is malicious software (malware) that may have been installed on your computer without your knowledge. The malware forces unsuspecting users to fraudulent websites (phishing websites, other malware websites).
Sri Lanka CERT|CC has not received any complaints regarding infected machines or any users being redirected to malicious websites (phishing sites, advertisements, etc.). If your machine is infected, you will not be able to browse the internet after the 9th July 2012.
